The Palace Hotel is hosting the British presenter Tony Moore and his guests in a new programme, Lets Talk Music. This programme is co-produced by Goodwine Productions and ONE TV. Each week different panel members from Malta and the UK will tackle the various topics debated.

This 13- week show will include a number of local and foreign personalities including Ira Losco, Chasing Pandora, Nik Kershaw and Bucks Fizz.

Ms Claire Xuereb, The Palace General Manager, said, “It goes without saying we are very pleased to host these personalities. In less than a year our hotel has earned a fast-growing reputation on the international circuit as the place to be. This is confirmed as it has been singled out by a host of personalities including singers Kiki Dee and Gigi D’Alessio”.

Tony Moore is one of UK’s No1 hosts and presenters. As well as an accomplished singer/songwriter, he was also part of the band behind the hit single ‘I just died in your arms tonight’, which reached number 1 in the charts of 17 countries.

Tony Moore is in Malta to present a new and original 13-week TV debating programme, Lets Talk Music, which aims to cover every aspect of today’s music industry broadcast live on ONE TV in Malta. The programme will bring together a diverse panel of 4 music experts each week to discuss current music news, issues and topics, who will take direct questions from a Live studio audience.

“All Seasons Resort – Europa is known for its many repeat guests who come year after year to get away from the cold winter up north. Many properties treat their repeat guests like royalty as they are a testament to the fact that the property must be doing something right for them to come back time and time again. But, the ‘snow birds’ as we call them really must love what we have to offer as a large majority of them have been coming every year from anywhere around 6 weeks to as long as 2 months.

Carol Spratt from Ontario just spent her 17th year with the property. She first started coming in 1976 and sees it as her home away from home. She has amassed a number of friends from Canada, Britain and the USA. She used to come with her husband as an annual retreat. Since her husband passed she still continues the journey, often staying 6 weeks at a time. She finds the property beautiful and adores the accommodation and primarily like the staff who she describes as warm, friendly and helpful.

Francis & Joyce Howard from Canada were just inducted in the 25 & Over Club by the Barbados Tourism Authority for their 30th visit to the island. They too have embraced the cottage like accommodation as their residence every February and almost count down the days to returning once they leave. They have seen all the infrastructural changes over the years throughout the island but delight in coming to All Seasons Resort because it always has that feeling of a refreshing oasis. They stay in the same room every year and wouldn’t have it any other way and to show how seriously they take the holiday they have already booked for next year.

All Seasons Resort ‘Europa’ which is ideal for families, couples and long stay visitors is an uncomplicated alternative to many other options out there. We make your holiday stressless the way it should be and make sure that additional perks such as free local calls, free wireless internet access and free shuttle service in the area enhance the quality of your stay. If you want to try it for yourself then we look forward to your visit. The many testimonials speak for themselves.”

Check out the Sariyaz Hotel which is a new property in Bodrum Town. These unbelievable rates are applicable until the end of May and from the 1st June the rates increase slightly to £14.50 per person so if you fancy an early break to escape the crowds then now is the perfect time to book.

Bodrum has a great range of shops, bars and nightlife as well as the local market that is open twice weekly near to the otogar or the bus station.

The town beach in Bodrum Town is small so you should hop on a dolmuş and head for Yalıkavak or one of the other resorts along the coastline if you want a decent beach.

Getting to Yalıkavak couldn’t be easier and the journey passes through some lovely countryside. Get on the dolmus at Bodrum otogar and get off at the very last stop in Yalıkavak, there it couldn’t be simpler.
In Yalıkavak you will find the fairly new marina which also contains a 2,500 seated amphitheatre. Shopping village and numerous dining opportunities.

Back to Bodrum and you will find that daily boat trips are available from the harbour and you can even take a day trip to the neighbouring Greek Island of Kos

While in Bodrum don’t forget to visit the The Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology which is located inside in TheCastle of The Knights of St.John

Gtahotels.com has a wide range of cheap hotels in Bodrum and the Peninsula

From students to families and business travellers just looking for a clean base to stay, budget accommodation is here to stay.
The popularity of independent travel seems to be responsible for this upcoming trend and hostel and cheap hotel owners are responding offering more services and comfort than ever before.
That being said, it does depend upon your destination. If you book a cheap hotel in London and want anything more than a base from which to explore the city then it’s highly likely that you will be disappointed.
Book a cheap hotel in Bangkok like the 3* Viengtai Hotel which comes has an excellent location and great online rates and you wont be disappointed.
If you have never booked a budget hotel before, then to get the most out of your stay you need to make sure that you will not expect too much or you will certainly be disappointed and if this is likely to be the case then its best to pay a little more to make sure you get what you really want.
Budget hotel check list
Budget hotels generally fall into the 1-2* category and have limited facilities
Location. Don’t always expect a prime location if you are booking a budget hotel. The location may be central but in a residential or rundown part of the city.
Shared facilities. Check the hotel description. You may have to share bathroom facilities though not always.
Room size. Expect your room to be a little cramped. Possibly not a wardrobe but hooks on the wall for your clothes.
Street noise. It’s highly unlikely that your room will have soundproofing.
Double beds. Probably not. More than likely 2 Single beds to sleep 2 people instead of 1 large bed.
To sum it up, if you are looking for a base with no frills from which to explore a city then you will get the most out of a budget hotel and enjoy your stay.
